Payment


The Access Services Payment comes from the local cable operator, Cablevision. Currently this payment provides most of the funding for GO-TV. This money is based on the operating costs of the original studio that the cable operator owned and operated in 1995. The Franchise Agreement directs the cable operator, currently Cablevision, to pay yearly, one third of it's origional operating costs to the three municipalities that took over their own public access studios, including the Village and Town of Ossining. This payment has increased 22% because of inflation over the years and is currently at about $43,000.00.
