Volunteering


Become a GO-TV volunteer and learn the technical side of the television business. Producers of public access television shows are always looking to volunteers to help them create shows for GO-TV. Our GO-TV staff will train you on the equipment. You could become a cameraman, video editor, assistant producer or even produce your own show, (residency restrictions may apply). You can support GO-TV simply by writing a letter of support. You might include the reasons you believe that GO-TV is an asset to the community. We will use these letters to try to persuade the Ossining Town and Village governments to increase their support of GO-TV. Click here for ideas of what a letter might include and the addresses to send them.
In addition to the above, GO-TV is looking for volunteer consultants to help with a number of administrative tasks. Some of these include:
Grant Writer - A person to research the availability of grants that GO-TV could apply to receive. Then write and submit the grant.
Fund Raiser - A person to design and run the GO-TV semi-annual fund raising drives.
